Grendelcomment: As of yesterday,
the fabulous article aggregation that normally appears in
this section is being retired. It has been an honor
and a privilege demonstrating that there really are
alternatives to legacy fake news media to be found.
Today, there is a rich tapestry of unmanipulated (or at
least variably manipulated) media to
choose from and compare for accuracy and world-view sanity.
News outlets are no longer being censored effectively for
larger and larger audiences and better still, this is a
trend that seems headed toward continued expansion.
The mainstreaming of once outcast outlets makes aggregating
based news more of a scholarly exercise and a chore than
when it was like living in X-files, uncovering the
monumental hidden truths that were out there and in need of
a little Streisand effect amplification from the Lair to
help break through the censorship wall. So now, the
time has finally come to close this chapter and put the
pedal to the medal on other Grendelcat Lair features.
In a way, it's a sad feeling - like leaving a family. A
weird one where my family members probably never knew or
will ever know I existed. But after virtually seeing
their worried, based, bold-faces every morning at the
breakfast table, learning their quirky natures, who covers
this, who goes after that . . . For many, I have
developed profound respect and admiration over the years and
I'm going to be missin' ya.
For visitors who are fascinated by this epic time in
journalism history, I intend to maintain the archive of the
past 4 years and to also write a Lairticle elaborating upon
my observations. I've noticed many oddities while
unleashing this Deadpool level of maximum effort telling
each day's story in as raw, as cohesive, and as receipt
inclusive a manner as possible. This endeavor
represents an exhaustive survey of fledgling legit western
journalists struggling and eventually emerging supreme
against the centuries-long strangle-hold governments and
corporations have enjoyed over the public narrative. I
humbly submit that this collection is among the most
comprehensive and least AI algorithm-infected in existence.
I sincerely hope it will be of use for those trying to
understand the nature of modern humanity as we slog our way
up the evolutionary ladder as a species in terms of
communicating freely and thus better comprehending our
expanding universe.
